Building DropReady: Live Integration, Product Page (Week 3)

This week had no bugs and no big architecture decisions - nothing for an Engineering deep dive like Week 1 or Week 2. Instead, two concrete steps forward, so here's a short update.

The dealit.gg integration is live

After the Week 2 fixes - the double base64_decode and the heartbeat redesign to fire-and-forget - the integration went live at dealit.gg without further issues. The queue is up and running end to end.

Honestly though, it's worth adding: the queue is currently idle. There hasn't been traffic yet that crossed its activation threshold, so I don't have a real load test behind it. That's good news - the configuration and integration went through cleanly after what we fixed the week before - but it's not the full picture. The real test comes with the first genuine drop that generates enough traffic for DropReady to actually kick in.

The product page is live

DropReady now has its own home on webberserker.com - webberserker.com/en/saas/dropready. Briefly what's there: what it is and what problem it solves, how it works in three steps, a Build in Public section linking to this post series, and a status section - no sugarcoating that we're in active deployment with our first client, not in full production.

Until now, the CTA in these posts pointed to the homepage. From now on, it points here.

FAQ

Is DropReady fully production-ready yet?
The integration at our first client is deployed and running, but it hasn't been tested under real load yet - that comes with the first genuine drop.

Where can I see more about DropReady besides the blog?
On the product page webberserker.com/en/saas/dropready - product description, how it works, and a link to the whole Build in Public series.
