We build dedicated connectors tailored to your ERP. UnoPIM acts as a data staging layer: it receives raw data from ERP (SKU, price, stock, technical specs) via REST API or scheduled import, which then gets enriched with marketing descriptions, translated content, and media. From there, the enriched data is pushed to sales channels via webhooks or scheduled sync. We've built connectors for a range of ERP systems, plus BaseLinker for multi-channel sales sync. Custom ERP integrations are scoped case by case.

It depends on catalogue complexity and the number of integrations. A basic setup (single ERP, one sales channel, up to 5,000 SKUs migrated) typically runs 6–10 weeks. A full implementation with multiple ERPs, marketplace connectors, a multi-language catalogue, and custom attribute families runs 12–20 weeks.

Both are open-source PIM systems, but the stack and ecosystem differ significantly. Akeneo is built on Symfony and is heavily geared towards the Western European enterprise market. UnoPIM runs on Laravel, the same framework behind PrestaShop modules and most custom PHP web apps. Teams already working in Laravel can extend UnoPIM without learning a new framework. Akeneo Community Edition also has hard feature limits (no rules engine, no multi-channel publishing) that force an upgrade to paid tiers. UnoPIM has no paid tiers, ever.

Yes — multi-language is a first-class feature, not a bolt-on. Each attribute value can be locale-specific independently: a product name, description, or unit label can differ per language without affecting other locales. UnoPIM ships with native support for Polish, English, German, Czech, and Slovak. Additional locales can be added at any time without schema changes. Translation workflows are built in: tasks can be assigned per locale, and completeness is tracked before pushing to any channel.

We build a dedicated PrestaShop connector that syncs products, categories, attributes, and media from UnoPIM via the PrestaShop REST API (1.7+ and 8.x). Sync is bidirectional for stock and pricing: ERP updates price → UnoPIM receives it → forwards it to PrestaShop. Product enrichment always originates in UnoPIM. The connector supports multi-store setups and per-store attribute overrides. Unlike generic CSV importers, it handles variant matrices and attribute groups natively — no manual remapping after initial setup.

Post-launch support covers bug fixes, connector stability monitoring, and UnoPIM core updates for a defined period after go-live (typically 6 or 12 months). Critical issues, like a data sync failure or system outage, get priority attention; feature development is scoped separately. No — and we actively recommend against it. We use a phased migration: start with your top 20% of SKUs by revenue or complexity, validate the full data flow end-to-end, then migrate the remaining catalogue in batches. This catches data quality issues early, before they multiply across tens of thousands of products. Your existing store stays live throughout. UnoPIM runs in parallel until the data is validated and the connector is production-tested and signed off.
